Taking off Category & Colors

Hey all,

Does anyone know how to take out the category links "Apparel, Toys, etcetc" that i located on the bottom of where the logo is supposed to be? I don't like the category links being located on the top as well as the sidebox.

Oh, and yeah I posted about color customization before, but I can't find the code in the stylesheet. Which code should I be looking for in order to change the light blue body background, and the blue colors of the sideboxeds, header, and footer?

Turn off the Category Tabs in the Layout Settings? :smile:

I wanted to take off the categories that are located BELOW where the logo is supposed to be, where the categories are listed in a single line.

I DO want to keep the categories in the sidebox though. When I turn off categories in the Layout Settings, the sidebox disappears , but the line with the categories is still there (which I dont want)

Yeah, I know. I'm a super noob

Search your stylesheet for "background-color:" and you will find all the elements that is defined for. The colors are stated in hexadecimal notation as"#aabbcc" - google "css tutorial" and you will find references that will explain many different ways to set colors. https://Www.w3schools.com has good ones.

You can also just throw numbers into the definitions and see what you get (in order, 0123456789abcdef). #000000 is black and #ffffff is white. #ff0000 is red.

In Photoshop, you can find a color you like and see its name in hexadecimal.

Where is the stylesheet and how do I find it? I'm so new I can hardly find anything. Thanks so much. Joella
