customers who bought this product also bought

I'd like this on my Cart.
Can anyone help? I've seen it on other sites!

This is automatic based on orders ...

As orders are made this will build itself ...

How can this feature be turned on and off?

Peek in the Configuration ... Maximum Values ...

That is a terrible and inaccurate description. Unless there really is a box that says "This Customer Also Purchased." But that wouldn't make any sense.

Linda, can you confirm that the "Also Purchased Products" does what I think it does, and that that description is inaccurate?

Not sure how else you can describe it ... :unsure:

You set it to 7 and when products are purchased together you will see 1 to 7 things show up as things are purchased together ...

Set it to 9 and you will see 1 to 9 things as products are purchased together ...

The value set is the Maximum number of Products that were Also Purchased together that you want to have displayed as orders are made ...

NOTE: you have to have orders with products that were also bought together for this box to appear ... get it? :smile:

I am using the latest Zen 1.3.8.1. The "Customers who bought this product also purchased..." starts to show this for an item, and then I get the error:

1065 Query was empty

Can someone help me resolve this as it's breaking my product pages that show "Customers who bought this product also purchased..."

The 'Also Purchased Products' module that appears on product pages doesn't show prices beneath the also purchased products. For example...

Anyone know how I can add a price? I tried to alter the file includes > modules > also_purchased_products.php around line 36 to append $products_price; onto the end but it displays 0.00 on every product.

Anyone? I can't imagine this is a big change in the code. The other modules like 'new products' and 'featured products' have the prices displayed as standard beneath the description... it's just Also Purchased Products where it's missing.

I like this feature but for me at least it's working incorrectly. When displaying the also bought product it displays the price of the item that you are currently viewing as the price of the also bought item :/

Sounds like you have customized the code, as by default the Also Purchased does not show the price ...

I have the same issue with the "Also Purchased" module displays the same price of the current item being viewed.

I am using a purchased custom template and running 1.3.8a.

I know how to turn the module off, but I would like to keep it, preferrably with the correct prices.

You can, however, customize this module by copying it to your templates and overrides directory and changing the code:
