Global Attributes?

Is there a way to take ALL my products and add a Gift Wrap Option w/o doing it one at a time?

I think i finally figured out what i was doing as far as HAVING a Gift Wrap Option, but do i need to go back and set this for each and every product or is there a way to do it for ALL products at once?

Re: Global Attributes?

Add a Product with just the Gift Wrapping Attribute ...

Now use this to Copy to Category in the Attributes Controller and update the Products in each Category ...

Note: Backup before attempting to do this change

Note: Did I mention to Backup before doing this change?

Re: Global Attributes?

I know yall probably dont run your own webserver but if you do like me, if you use windows server 2003 enterprise for your webserver then you dont need ftp software becuase you can run mulitple domains in isolation mode. IIS 6.0 gives the ability to isolate users per domain your hosting... example... instead of using ftp software to connect to your host, you can simply type in your internet explorer ftp.area51solutions.com and as far as attributes goes if you do run your own server and you know its secure as far as your Iusr accounts on permission to excute... then you can keep all your files at 777 without any fear of reprisal, most people that are concerned with this are people who run there websites on apache becuase there servers are easily sploitable
