Multi-Language Support for EZ-Pages

I installed the newst Multipages from the download section on my 1.3.7 shop. Now the admin area has got the old ezpages as I created them + the (translate me). So I translated a few of my pages, and what happens, is that the links in the header diappear! Will this go away when all pages are translated or is there more to this?

The links are also missing in all three languages after updating the translated ezpages. The first link should be 'Home' and the 5th should be Services. The others I haven't started to translate yet since I noticed that the links in the header disappeared, so they have the Finnish link texts and content, since the multilingual ezpages put all content as english, though all content was finnish by 'default'.:blink:

I had the same problem when I didn't have the folder/files move correctly. i.e. "CUSTOM" should be you custom template name.

I didn't type anything in the html box and it says I have defined multiple settings HTML & Internal link url.... !!!
I only have the Internal Link URL with letters !!

It says clear : Only define either: HTML Content -or- Internal Link URL -or- External Link URL

Solution: if you have html content under EZpage, then don't do the link URL, or vice versa.

But what I having trouble is the html content only work on English version not the second language version.

i have multi language ez-pages installed, (just followed the steps, everything seemed fine). its been installed.

then "translate me" appeared on my site, and i went to Admin > Tools > EZ Pages, "translate me" also appeared ahead the titles.

i clicked edit the pages, but there's still only the default language to edit, i didnt find any additional languages.

whats wrong with it? i dont know what to do. :blush:

i have installed french package before i use this add-on.

my case is :

before i installed multi-language ez-pages, when i clicked edit ez-page :

changing admin to english or french, there's always only the language english on the editing page.

after i installed multi-language ez-pages, when i clicked edit ez-page :

changing admin to english, the introduction of ez-page is in english.
changing admin to french, the introduction of ez-page is in french.

but, there's only one language to write the title, html content or link, no additional language option.

so, my ez-pages isnt in multi-language even i have this add-on.

i dont find the CUSTOM in my folders,

first "CUSTOM" : /includes/modules/CUSTOM
i found only "template_default" and "classic" in my "modules", so i transfered those two files to "template_default".

sencond "CUSTOM" : /includes/modules/sideboxes/CUSTOM
i found only "classic" in my "sideboxes", so i created "template_default" and transfered that one file to "template_default".

perhaps the problem is that i put those files which's in CUSTOM to the wrong place?

I had the same confusion you got.

The "CUSTOM" directory should be your custom template directory name. That is, you don't look into the actual folder name of "CUSTOM" but whichever template name you are using, i.e. "default", "real forever".

Don't see site up and running. Otherwise, try to understand the issue from it.

Are you sure the French package working with your zen cart version?

it works now :D
the only problem was that i put the CUSTOM to the wrong place.
in my zen, it should be the folder classic

However when I try to cgeate First page for the menu bar it always shows Array for both languages in the EZ header page which I can;t change. It shows however translated words in the TOC when I click on this Array.
Befor It was installed I couls create this header menu without problem but only in one language.

Please help.

Sorry if this has been mentioned somewhere else, I couldn't find mention of it...

I was having repeated entries in the breadcurmb title i.e Home :: (translate me) Video :: (translate me) Video

This was only for ezpages... I have the multi-lingu installed.

I found a duplication of the line
$breadcrumb->add($var_pageDetails->fields['pages_title']);
in file includes/modules/pages/page/header_php.php ilne 156

I commented one out and don't recieve the repitions...

I was having the same problem and realized that I made one error when installing the files.

These two files overwrite existing files that don't have an over-ride capability: make backup copies just in case, and keep them in mind for when you are next upgrading your Zen Cart...

includes/modules/pages/page/header_php.php
admin/ezpages.php

I had originally saved the first file under includes/modules/pages/page/CUSTOM/header_php.php. Once I fixed that, the array problem went away. Perhaps you made the same mistake?

I installed the Multilingual EZ Pages download and I think I did everything as in the readme file.... now when I want to add my language heading it gives me a

I get this on my page where I inserted an afrikaans title to my english ezpage

1054 Unknown column 'pages_title' in 'order clause'
in:

it normally doesn't allow me to enter Afrikaans title with error

Successful install.
But...

define pages link from EZ-page links don't show.
Any ideas?

There are no additional language fields under the EZ-pages settings.

Do I need to change my admin language before editing the EZ-pages.
