MZMT MultiGeoZone MultiTable Shipping [Support Thread]

Small issue with this installation...

I've set up my various zones without a hitch...

But it's doing somthing strange, when the total weight (or shipping cost) goes over a certain amount, it drops off the handling fee.

I used it to estimate the same freight, along side zone shipping with the same table rates... and the MTMZ comes out at $5 less (my handling fee). Only when the weight goes over a certain amount (im not totally sure what that amount is), under the unknown amount they calculate the freight the same, with the handling fee.

Doh... i didnt have my table set up correctly to include 0:X, 1:X... i started at 1:X

I totally disregarded this module at first and spent several days attempting to fix up one for my own use. I didn't fully understand the capabilities of the table system however...and this awesome. Thankyou so much for sharing this. I'm very happy now :P

thank you for the great mod for zen cart.
been looking for mod like this all over.
however i did something wrong during installation.

the internet connection had been really slow tonight..
so when i was running INSTALL_v1.100.sql,
i think i hit it twice because the screen was blank. :oops:
so now there are two of "MultiGeoZone MultiTable Shipping" under my Configuration drop-down menu.

I tried to restore my database to previous state before I run that sql, however the duplicates are still there.
Please advice.

nevermind, i just delete them off from SQL, and re-run the given SQL.

for those who stumble upon this thread and not so SQL and PHP literate like me, just uninstall your MZMT module from shipping. then find these 2 tables in your MyPHPadmin:

-configuration_group
-configuration

find rows with 'MZMT' or 'MultiGeoZone' keywords.. and delete the rows off the table..

I'm confused....I am to predetermine the price it is going to cost to ship something if using the by weight option? If using Australia Post, where do I enter that as an option?

I have a question for you. What would be the ISO Codes for Alaska & Hawaii (Guam, Puerto Rico & Virgin Islands) be. I guess what I'm trying to say for example the rest of the 48 states would start with** US:** if you use the first 3 digits of the zip codes. Thank you in advance.

i moved my zen cart shop from https://www.shop200.com to https://www.goods88.com ,then i found that the "mzmt" cannot display on the "check-out" web page ,while it can display on the "estimate shipping" web page. please tell me how to solve the problem!

This is silly.. I set up MZMT and install the zones as requested but on the geo zones section, under European union (well, most of the others actually), the only zone thats there is 'Fiji' and next to it 'Iowa'. What the hell?

Just as I thought Zen Cart was getting easier, they throw up a load of bull**** by conviniently leaving out this obviously important aspect of shopping cart software.

Have you looked at the Downloads for Zones that you may need but no one else would want? There have been quite a few added to the Downloads ...

I've had a glance, but not looked properly. Sorry about my atitude by the way, it's bank holiday weekend in UK and I have to do work!

And I'm just ignoring the per weight unit part of it, which is why this module is perfect! I don't want the pain of adding every individual country to a geozone which is where I thought I could be saved, but this just isn't working!

hello,i did install MultiGeoZone MultiTable,i know how to set up the different coutrys and different zones,but i don't know how to set up the shipping rates,for example:0.5kg-30usd,1kg-35usd,when the weight add 0.5kg,the ship charge will add usd 5,when the weight is reach to 20kg,the ship charge is change to usd10 for per kg,if the weight is above 20kg,the ship charge is usd 8 for per kg,
if i need to set up from 0.5KG to 20KG,if i should set up as below or have the more better and easy way:

Please i need help, something wrong which i cant figure it out,

the problem is if an item is 0.15 it displays the price of 0.10 and not 0.20 how can i fix that.

I just installed this mod, and i tried to reset or uninstall tings to create extra shipping zones and tables but things don't seem to work, am I missing something?
