better categories logos & icons

Does anyone know how to place a space between the logo/gif and the text link to the category using better categories

As you can see, the gif is too close to the text and I cannot see any mod in the css to move this a little

I dont know if there is an easier way or a more methodical way of doing this but at the moment I have an extra long gif with a transparant background to push the text out further

You could try replacing the first content line

   $content .= '<div class="betterCategories"><a class="' . $new_style . '" href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT, $box_categories_array[$i]['path']) . '">';

with

   $content .= '<div class="betterCategories"><a class="' . $new_style . '" href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT, $box_categories_array[$i]['path']) . '"> ';

or add in more   to make a bigger gap.
