Change Product Name without creating a new product

I would like to change my product name but, I do not want to create a new product. I am currently using Easy Populate. When I change the product name it creates a new product. Any way around this? I want to keep the URL's that the products have been at + the sales reports and stuff. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
