Font color in Header bar

I am slowly customizing my template as I get more confidence thanks to this forum.
My question is - How can I change the font for the Page Titles I activate using Tools - EZ Pages from the orginal blue to white - like the very top bar where Shopping Cart | Checkout is?
I have changed to color for Tile_Back.jpg to a blue color in folder -/cart/includes/templates/classic/images/

Re: Font color in Header bar

if im understanding you right you just want to change the color of the font right?

if so this is done in your css files. go to includes/template/classic/css/stylesheet_original

the class you are looking for is

TD.headerNavigation {

under this you can change the font,color,size and all that fun stuff.

hope this helps

if you download firefox and the developers tools it will make editing css much easier.

hope this helps

Re: Font color in Header bar

Hi, get the Web Developer extension for Firefox, and modding CSS will be much easier (live edit, info, etc).

Re: Font color in Header bar

Not sure from your post what stylesheet you are basing your cart on?

If you are just setting up, I would suggest that you begin with the template_default.

Also you posted that you are editing your tile_back in the

/cart/includes/templates/classic/images/
You should be setting up your own template file system using the wonderful 'override' system built into ZenCart. Search this site for override and get started right. You will find that there are many reasons that you should be employing the override structure. In addition, others will have an easier time assisting you if you are proceeding in the recommended fashion.

If and when you are using your copy of the template_default stylesheet, all the css configurable elements belong in the stylesheet and most will be prefaced with the term 'EZPages'. There are many tags i.e. ul, li, header, TOC, etc and each controls some facett of the EZPages.

Re: Font color in Header bar

im facing a very similar problem, thought it would fit in this thread.

i need to specifically change just the font colors in the ezpages bar, but when i change it in the css all the titles change to that color! could anyone point out what i need to change here to specifically only alter the link and visited colors for navEZPagesTOC?

this the css

a:link, #navEZPagesTOC ul li a {
color: #111111;
text-decoration: none;
}

a:visited {
color: #676767;
text-decoration: none;
}
