does the Units in Stock go down when people order ?

should the Units in Stock go down as people order ? if not is there a way to do that ? i just started my cart today and it doesn't seem that orders are ticking down the quantities available.

That depends on the configuration settings in Configuration ... Stock ...

You decide if you want to track stock, allow checkout with low stock and if Products should be marked as Sold Out or be removed from your Catalog when stock hits <= 0

ya I had that turned on.

seems to works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't not ever purchase removes available items but some do . could this be from something i did wrong ?

Product stock products_quantity is reduced when an order is completed ...

At this time, Downloads do not reduce the products_quantity ...

Is this a clean install or an upgraded install?

Do you have an URL that we can peek at where this does not function correctly?

Any particular Product where this works consistantly wrong?
