UPS module not showing in Shoppin Cart estimate shipping

It seems that UPS shipping modules doesn't work on my zen-cart installation. I installed and enabled UPS but didn't work.. It doesn't show in the Shopping Cart's Estimate Shipping pop-up. Am i missing something or what?

I have Zen Cart installed on a local computer for development. Everything works okay except the 'Estimate Shipping' from the shopping cart.

I have the following modules enabled: UPS, USPS, and a custom module called "rate to be determined" for large freight. This is really just a copy of the Store Pickup module. All modules display just fine on the Checkout delivery information page. Unfortunately, only USPS rates are displayed on the 'Estimate Shipping' popup. Any ideas what might be wrong here?

I just installed the new version of zen - because of the great amount of help and responses I got from other posts. Thanks once more for all the awesome support.

But I still have several problems. I registered with USPS for their web tools, got the username, plugged it in, used the username as the password as well (as instructed via email from usps) and set the server to production. Then I called and got the email stating that the account has been turned on. But the problem is a very strange one.

Even though I have turned on that shipping module, not only does usps not show up in the shipping estimator but also it does not show up as an option for shipping at all on the checkout:shipping method. The message I get is:

This is currently the only shipping method available to use on this order.

• of course - the ups is showing up just fine here. But i want to give my customers a choice between usps ans ups. -

I read through these posts, but I am not sure what to do next.

my UPS shipping estimator is also not doing any estimating. this is the current setup:

If you are in Canada ... then you cannot enter the 5 digit Zip Code that UPS requires for the UPS module that comes with Zen Cart ... :eek:

There is another UPS module for the XML server in the Downloads I believe that handles additional needs ... such as not being in the US with a 5 digit zipcode ... :cool:

I tried searching UPS module for the XML server in the Downloads but could not locate one. Can you please send the link and the name of the module? I am using 1.3.6 ver for Canada. The existing UPS module is not working and it keeps giving this message -

We are unable to obtain a rate quote for UPS shipping.
Please contact the store if no other alternative is shown.

after i installed the ups xml module, i get this:

I fixed that one ... :smile:

You had the language file in your overrides directory but not in the default directory ... this means there was nothing there to call to override ... :eek:

NOTE: override files are only used when you actually customize them, otherwise, don't add the files to your overrides directories ...

I do have the same problem and I am in Canada too.. I need to resolve the UPS problem ASAP because my client is loosing Money not having the Cart Online yet...

UPS that comes with Zen Cart is for the US ... for Canada you would need to get the UPS XML module ...

I believe there is a copy in the Downloads ...

if someone has ups xml module which will work with the latest version of zen please pm me.. many thanks!

So, I followed the instructions to create the UPS account and whatnot but then I realized I can't download the actual UPSXML contrib anywhere!

Has this been done away with? I am a Candian shipper and want to use UPS to ship out my items and would love to know how I can get the estimator to work.
