TEXT_INFO_CURRENCY and other stuff error!

I get the text below instead of the actual text I guess in the admin section, in the currency page, this is a default installation of v1.3.01

TEXT_INFO_CURRENCY_TITLE UK Pound
TEXT_INFO_CURRENCY_CODE GBP

TEXT_INFO_CURRENCY_SYMBOL_LEFT £
TEXT_INFO_CURRENCY_SYMBOL_RIGHT

TEXT_INFO_CURRENCY_DECIMAL_POINT .
TEXT_INFO_CURRENCY_THOUSANDS_POINT ,
TEXT_INFO_CURRENCY_DECIMAL_PLACES 2

TEXT_INFO_CURRENCY_LAST_UPDATED 05/23/2006
TEXT_INFO_CURRENCY_VALUE 1.00000000

TEXT_INFO_CURRENCY_EXAMPLE
£30.00 = £30.00

It looks like a php file has some syntax missing or something ? Thanks for any help
