Removing Date/In Stock on Product Pages

I hope I'm placing this question in the right place! On my product listing pages I want to remove the "Units in Stock" and "Date Product was Added". I've tried turning these off in the admin section, but for some reason they are still showing up. Is there anything else I can try to remove these two things? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I don't know where else to look.

There are a couple of places in the Admin where you turn these off.

admin -> catalog -> product types -> edit layout

admin -> configuration -> all listing

Thank you so much!! I was only looking in the all listings area of the admin. I had to go to the edit layout and sure enough I found what I needed to remove those two things!!
