working on tamil

Hi,

Just thought i'd drop a line, we are about to start work on a tamil translation, the only problem is that with the enc type it doesnt seem to like the utf which means its all coming out in garbled. Does the upgrade (we are 1.2) fix this? I have been putting off doing it but that plus I have heard tabless so I may upgrade when I find the time :S.

anyway just thought I'd say now incase anyone wants to put in their two sense or if any one was waiting for a tamil language pack I am not sure how long it will take but we will get there eventually.

Just a quick update, I am not entirely sure how to include the tamil text even on the new version all the files are encoded in ansi format where as I thought it needed to be utf. the tamil script wont save on these ansi encoded files. even if i change the enc type for one file (the include) it doesnt display right as the headers are not utf :blush: Im not really sure how or what to do or even if change the enc type of every single file in the proejct is worthwhile.
