One shipping price for selected specific items.

Is there a good solution for having one shipping price on only certain items? There is already a flat rate table set by price and also free shipping set for totals over $50.

Currently having a problem with trying to figure out a way to attach one shipping cost ($1.95) to very lightweight items even though we do not use the shipping by weight. Can't use the table since that is by price and these particular items are more than the lowest prices in the shipping table.

This has to be part of the general shipping total since the customer likely will order other items along with these particular lightweight items.

Is there a way to have more than one flat rate table? That would solve the problem, I think.

What happens when I buy 5 light weight items?

What happens when I buy 5 light weight items and 5 heavy weight items?

The way I handle it is I calculate & include the shipping for very small or light items in the price and offer Free Shipping for those items (greeting cards, etc.).

Always Free Shipping would handle this ...

And turning on the Free Shipping (freeshipper) Shipping Module will handle a cart of cards ...

I have a similar problem - a lightweight item that is $5.00 minimum to ship ONE, but shipping 5 more would be the same amount. (Priority) How would I do this? Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I can't find ANYWHERE to post a new question....
