Affiliate Program

An affiliate program would be a good thing to help with promotion. Something where people can get a %age of the cart value, or a flat $ amount for each sale. Reporting features for the affiliates and for the store owner, a section to pick up code for banners or text ads should be included.

I'm not extremely technical, so I don't know how much of an undertaking it would be.

I followed the link that Kim posted for an affiliate program, but all that is there is the Cardservices one, paypal, and the Zencart book.

Am I missing something?

I'm trying to find an Affiliate program that will work with v1.27d as apparently the mod Affiliates Free has been abandoned and I can't get it to work.

we are finishing up integration of an affiliates program to work with zen cart that will actually only base affiliate payment on the total of products,
so if a coupon is used you only pay commissions on the discounted product price
you also dont pay commission on shipping or taxes

Is it for only Zencart v1.3 and higher or can we chicken folks still using 1.27d use it?

Will it work by individual products or can it work from just having a linked affiliate banner to the site?

It is a simple affiliate program
and we are working striclty with 1.3 right now but since the code is limited to a custom footer then the code should work

When you say a "simple" affiliate program and will pay based on the total of products. Should I take this to mean that it will not be able to separate commissions based on Product Groupings?

For example:

Product A, B and C are all purchased on the same invoice but Affiliate A only gets commission on product A and Affiliate B gets commission on product B, etc...

Would this be considered 'not' simple and not included?
