Shipping values not being saved ?

Hi guys, I am trying to set up my shipping table at the moment on my site, with the help of a friend. I have worked out the configuration and here is what i do:

The function is working but incorrect ship costs are applied.

To short cut this I go to the admin > modules > shipping and select
the last 'zone rates' and edit.

I Leave the countries as is for now but in the 'zone1 shipping table" paste
the following and update.

2:9.00,4:11.00,5:12.60,7:14.10,8:16.20,10:18.00

But the values are not retained, for some reason even after I press update they don't get retained, what am I doing wrong ?? I am level 1 in admin so this shouldt affect it should it ? any help would be greatly appreciated.

What version of Zen Cart? php and mysql versions?

Hi Kim, I am in the process of upgrading, but at the moment it is 1.2.4, php ver, MySQL ver etc so a little behind, would this affect it ?

Has anyone else had this problem ? bit stuck on it ?

One of the older versions of Zen Cart had a bug in zones where the zones would not save ... the upgrade will fix this ...

Write down your current settings, remove it and reinstall and configure it again ...

Hi Linda, how do I go about this ? where is the new upgrade found ?

Sorry all the upgrade features are new to me, still learning it. What settings should I write down ?

For the current version click the link at the top of your screen for: get Zen Cart and get the full version

If you are unable to upgrade to the v1.3 series yet, you can click the link to SourceForge at the bottom of the screen and click the menu choice for files and get v1.2.7d ...

Be sure to backup both your database and web site ...

It is advisable to create a test site of your current live site and a test database to load your live database into and do a test upgrade ...

You would want to make a note of your good zone settings ... if you are not that far then you do not need to write them down :smile:

Thanks Linda, will give it a go and see if that fix's it. I am keen to do the 'Check for upgrades' but worried it will stuff up my site, I don't have another database facility on my server so may have to do this and spend a day ironing out the bugs.
