New product Help Needed

Is there a way to turn off the new products? I was able to cut it off on the main page but it still shows on all category pages....

Also, My featured listings are stacking up not lining up side by side for some reason in IE...Looks normal in Mozilla I tried adjusting my images (smaller) and they still did this..

If you go to the Admin ... Configuration ... Index Listing ...

All of the Centerboxes can be controlled here ...

0 is OFF and any other value is the Sort Order ...

NOTE: each Centerboxes has several settings based on when they display ...

That area just controls the main page though right? I would like to cut that new product diplay off in my categories...
