product variations

i've gone thru the threads and can't seem to find one about this...

if i have a product that comes in a few sizes and a few colors do i need to add each product separately? or is there a way to add those options? :blink:

This can be done with Attributes ...

You might want to setup a test site with a test database with the demo products to see just what all of the features are with Zen Cart and the many ways in which Products can be set up ...

This is a real good way to see a Product Setup in action ... :smile:

all i want to do is have 2 sizes available, in 5 styles for every product i have. I've been playing with the attributes and it makes no sense to me. :(

You might wish to read through the FAQs and the Wiki ... there are also numerous threads on creating Option Names, Option Values, and Attributes ... to help you build these ...

I can write another book on this as I have numerous threads breaking down this process ... or perhaps you could first try reading through the FAQs and a few searches to see if those don't help you ... :smile:
