i get this error
1016 Can't open file: 'whos_online.MYI' (errno: 145)
my cart is working for over 1 year
i'm using 1.26 zencart

i can't find what it is, the admin section works but if i'm going to the who's online section it gives the same error as above

please help me

These errors indicate a problem at the database level.

It is not a bug in Zen Cart.

Kelvyn's suggestion above may help. If not, talk to your hosting company. You may have run out of disk space, or the server-file containing that database table may be corrupt in some other way. To fix the file, your server host needs to get involved.

This happens when the MySQL crashes ...

We do not control crashing databases ...

I have seen this maybe twice in two years with my hosting site for my clients ... a repair usually will fix this ...

However, if this is a frequent error, as in more than once or twice a year ... I'd be talking to my Hosting site to see why MySQL is crashing ...

I had the same error "Re: 1016 Can't open file: 'whos_online.MYI' (errno: 145)" on zencart version 2.3.8. I had plenty of diskspace and bandwidth left so I don't know what caused the error or table to crash. It's only happened the once so I'm hoping it's a one off server crash.

With thanks to the above advice I fixed the problem by repairing the table in phpmyadmin. :smile:
