Gap in Header & Logo / need full border around table

In your includes -> templates -> YOUR_TEMPLATE -> common -> tpl_header.php

find these lines of code:

Delete or comment out the portion in bold

Your suggestion worked for the white space; what can be done about moving left & right column content to the top and lastly, how can the over-lap between ".leftBoxContainer" (or whatever controls the left column) and the "#navBreadCrumb" area...?

In your stylesheet.css find the following:

#navBreadCrumb, #navEZPagesTop {
font-size: 0.95em;
font-weight: bold;
margin: 0 0.8em;
padding: 0.5em;
}

Make the changes indicated in red and see if that helps.

After a couple of hours at "trial and error", I was able to get things a little better lined up and spaced some what nice...

To those that have found this thread...
Just be prepared to dig in and spend a little time on the CSS. It can get a little confusing figuring which elements of the cart display are controlled where in the CSS.
