login takes me to install again!

I've just completed the install of a new site and find that when I click on the 'login' link on my home page it takes me the install zencart page again instead of the login page on https.

What's going on? Never had this issue before. Is it something to do with this latest ZC version?

Try deleting your browser cache, because I don't get directed to the install page when I click on your login link - I go to the login page.

One thing to note - it's bad news to run all of your site under ssl - Google in particular does not give any page ranking to https pages - so if all of your pages are https that equals no Google ranking for any of them.

You also need to delete or rename the install folder and reset permissions on your two configure.php files.

Hi I am just setting up my site using a shared ssl, also on xcalibre.

I am currently hosted on dataflame grrrr! https://www.thequalitygiftstore.co.uk

so I want to set up my store and switch my domain over.

I am having similar problems. I want my store in the root of my site, not in a catalog folder with a redirect, but when I install with ssl enabled, I get errors ar login and admin.

Further, I am setting up on a preview url. Does this complicate/

Post your /includes/configure.php from the server without your username and password and we can probably help straighten you out ...

Got it sorted! Turns out some server issue was preventing a proper install.
