site width

Hi, I am trying to make my store a width of 100% but I don't want the horizontal scroll of course.

http://magicianschool.com/store/inde...&products_id=2

Take a look at this and let me know what you think would be causing it.

It would be in my CSS style sheet right?? I don't see any widths there other than 100%

Thanks in advance.

Re: site width

In your stylesheet, look for a line containing the following: 750px
change that to 100%

nothing says 750px...just 100% in a couple of places. Any other ideas?

Re: site width

Are you using the "classic" template or a custom one?

Re: site width

Ok, try finding the following in your includes => templates => YOUR_TEMPLATE => css => stylesheet.css

#mainWrapper {
background-color: #ffffff;
text-align: left;
width: ???px;
vertical-align: top;
}

NOTE: some of the details may vary as per your custom template, but the general layout should be the same. The question marks represent some number, whatever was set as the default for your custom template. If you can find that, try replacing "???px" to "100%" without the " " of course.

Re: site width

I must be using an older CSS style sheet or something. I don't see a mainwrapper in there, just a "centershop" that is set at 100% in width. Not sure what the problem is.

Re: site width

Are you running ZC V1.3.0.1?

Just to confirm, your're not looking at the "template_default" but your "YOURTEMPLATE" folder right? Because the "template_default" is automatically set to 100% I think.

Re: site width

Ok (forgive me if this seems elementary to you). If you login to your Admin, go to Tools => Template Selection, the template that is active is called "template_custom" correct? That is the template for which you are looking at the stylesheet.css file for.

Re: site width

You have two stylesheets loading on your site:```html

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="includes/templates/template_custom/css/stylesheet.css" /> <link href="./../magicianschool.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> ```

Are you sure settings in the second one aren't overriding the settings in the first one?

Re: site width

yes, again, I am using the custom_template css for my store, and some styles from the other too, but they are not conflicting.

Re: site width

What exactly is the problem?

Are you saying that the width of your google ads sidebox is 10px too wide and thus has white-space showing?

Re: site width

You posted about this in another thread...answered you there as I didn't see this.
You have a 10px left margin on your .centershop in your stylesheet.css that seems to be causing the shift.
