Removing Stock Status

hi all, how can we remove the " xx Units in Stock" from the Product_info. all my stock is showing a negative number and instead of customers ordering theyare emailing "do you have any in stock"

Admin > Catalog > Product Types

Click the Edit Layout button and check out all the switches there....

hehehehe.... never mind my eyes are just painted on :blush: was pressing EDIT instead of "EDIT LAYOUT"

How is this done in the 1.37 version of zen cart??? I am not sure what to to put in the config/products listings/ show quantity. When i leave it blank, it still shows on the product page.. please help.

If you do not want to see the Quantity in stock then you need to turn this off on the Product Type(s) ...

Catalog ... Product Types ...

Pick a Product Type and hit the Edit Layout button to turn it off on the Product Type ...

To not show in other places of the shop, there are settings for this too such as on each of the Listings for Product Listing, New Listing, Featured Listing and All Listing ...

Okay, I got all that, but what i am trying to remove is the "units in stock -50" from the detailed product description. I have turn off all the other settings you have listed, but it is still there. Any suggestions? Here is an example....

Follow Ajeh's instructions carefully.

Admin> Catalog> Product Type> Product General> EDIT LAYOUT> Show Quantity in Stock - set to zero

I feel really stupid... Thanks I was in config not catalog... had a brain fart i guess. Thanks for the help.
