Upgrade Problem ~ please help!

I have a problem with upgrading to 1.3.0.1, where the page loads half way and stops, refreshing once or more will make it load correctly. This is not a situation that a live store could live with. I do not have this problem with my current store that is ZenCart 1.2.6.

I need to correct this before I can make the upgraded site live but have not a clue as to what might be causing this. I have reloaded the cart files thinking that there might be a corrupt file.

If you are lucky, it will load ok to the home page, but this is not a predictable problem, browse the categories and there will be an instance of the half load that you can see.

The screen shot is where it loads half way - it will then load properly after several refreshes.

I would really appreciatte any help you maybe able to give me at this point, I am stumped!

This does not appear to be an upgrade problem - and the two websites are not immediately comparable to one another. Your existing website uses one template whilst your new website either uses another template - or else you've rewritten the template from the original website.

I can only advise that you look at the structure of the template, and look especially for any extra or missing table tags.

I am using the template_default as recommended and except for a few changes to colors have not changed anything else.

As it loads correctly if refreshed, wouldn't this not happen if there were tags missing?

No closing bracket. It may not be the only one. You would be best to use the Firefox Browser and install their Developer Tools, and then the Dom Inspector will show you the start and end of all table elements.

Using the admin developers toolkit I searched for valign="top"

It was found in several tpl files, paypal_admin_notification.php and order.php.

None of these files nor any others excepting the stylesheet.css have been altered.

So would this be a bug, and should I post this there?

Go to the Layout Boxes Controller and turn off the banners and banners2 and banners_all sideboxes ...

Does this fix the half pages?

Ajeh's right. It's banner-related. I suspect that your "top50" banner is based on HTML code that isn't properly formatted/complete.
Your page displays fine when the Breast Cancer Awareness banner is shown, but not when the top50 banner is displayed.
