Header in 1.3????

Okay I have looked and looked through the forums, I apologize if this has already been asked, I could not find it. I understand that header.php was taken out of the newest release of zen. My question is what if part of my navigation structure is in my header? Is there anyway to allow header.php to show up in the newest release of zen? I'm not sure if this makes since, but any help would be great!

The first is still there and contains default text, image info etc for your header. The other, which is the one that I think interests you, has been replacedby the template common file tpl_header.php. So whatever you previously did in modules/header.php, you would now do to templates/common/tpl_header.php.

Re: Header in 1.3????

I still dont get it. In my original tpl_main_page.php it calls for this code.

<?php require(DIR_WS_COMMON . 'tpl_header.php'); ?>

If I take that out of the tpl_main_page.php the page loads fine, but with no header. If I leave that in, the page comes up with this error.

Warning: main(includes/modules/header.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/dramagea/public_html/test_cart/includes/templates/tm000/common/tpl_main_page.php on line 45

Re: Header in 1.3????

Ahh. Now I see the problem. It looks to me as though you have purcahsed a template for an earlier verion of Zen Cart and are trying to use it in v1.3 where the structure is different.

I suspect that even if you solve this, you will just uncover more problems. Did you buy the template recently? If so, I would recommend putting pressue oin your vendor to supply a version that works with the current version of Zen Cart. Otherwise, you could install an earlier version of Zen Cart - v1.2.7d is still available for download from Source Forge. Finally if you have php skills and knowledge of Zen Cart structures you could work through the problems to upgrade the template. Alternatively, you could pay somebody to upgrade it for you.
