Setting Up Zen Cart and PayPal

Is there a guide on how to set up zen cart and your paypal account to use paypal for credit card processing anywhere?

Look in the docs section of your zen cart distrobution

Please note that zen will let users make payment with credit card on paypal but its still using the IPN.... where customer leaves your site goes to paypal then comes back.

My client is having a problem with the Pay-Pal IPN.

He is receiving payments okay. The problem is that he does not know what they ordered. When logging in to the admin panel to show the invoice/packing slip...it does not show what was ordered. Is there a patch to fix this...or is it something that needs to be enabled with Pay-Pal?

What version of Zen Cart are you running?

Have you applied the latest PayPal Patch?

I already downloaded the latest version, but did not upload yet. Wanted to find out if this is what I should do or not...before I did it.

Do I simply upload all of the files...and if I do...do I have to re-customize everything (header, graphics, etc...) or is there just a patch for the changed files only that will not affect the customized look?

If you want to offer customers to pay for their purchase using their PayPal funds, they will have to go offsite to PayPal in order to login there and authorize the payment before coming back to your store to complete the transaction.
