Attribute Limits?

I'm creating a product page with a large number of options. Currently running 1.2.6.

Here's the question: will having 200+ options on a single product slow Zen down to a crawl? I have great confidence in my host as far as the server goes but is Zen able to make this happen?

Attributes start to slow you down above 80-100 per Product when not on a fast server ...

Depending on what you are configuring and you server this could have an effect on your speed ...

We have a new release coming out that is more optimized and will help greatly ... but I do not have a date for that release ...

Can you give an idea of what kind of Products you have that need that many Option Names and Option Values?

Sure Linda. Without going into too much detail, we're offering a complete bicycle customization program. Everything from the frame to the tires to the decal color.

I'm on a very fast certified host so I'm not worried about that. Would love to upgrade to the new version but I'm not much of a coder... from what I've heard it'd be a bumpy road.

Have you an URL that we can peek at to see what you might be facing on an upgrade?
