Removing Category Title Below Image

Been searching, can't seem to figure this one out...

I am using images that will title the categories. I would like to remove the dynamic type below it on the product page.

but leave it in all other places...

can someone point me in the right direction..?

Peek in the tpl_modules_category_icon_display.php where the Categories Image and Name are built, and you can use a template override for this ...

Peek in the tpl_modules_category_icon_display.php where the Categories Image and Name are built, and you can use a template override for this ...

to use a template override for this where would i put the tpl_modules_category_icon_display.php ?

Mine is in:

includes > templates > CUSTOM_TEMPLATE > templates

works perfect over here.

lol I was afraid you were going to say that , cause that's where I put it , means I haven't edited it correctly I suppose , the part after the <br> comes out right?

ahh wait it does work on the item's page but not on the home page, that must be a different file, anyone have an idea which file please?

now i have no clue as to what is happening with this the category image only shows on 1 category page with no category description with it (it has a description defined) , yet the other categories show a title and description on their category pages with no category image? They were all put in identically.
how many years does it take to make this thing look right? I'm beginning to think the only way you can get a decent template with this thing is to pay a pro to make you one.

scratch that last post I've worked out that if there is only 1 item then the image shows when there is more than 1 item the description shows.

still have the problem on the links underneath on the indw or home page though

ok found the answer , for those people still looking here is the answer

remove the following

'<br />' . $categories->fields['categories_name'] .

from file

category_row.php

Where you have your link "Mens Clothing". On mines I would like to remove just that part leaving the image. How would I go about that. I tried what was posted but no dice.
