Shipping - Combo Table and Percent after certain amount possible?

Thanks in advance if anyone can help with this.

My cart needs the ability to calculate shipping based on a prcentage of the cost of the items after it falls off the end of the table-based rates i have set up.
I.E.: I have shipping set up in a table based on the price up to $400, and after that, want to base shipping on 5.5% of the total. Right now it throws out $0 for shipping if it is over $400.

Is that possible?

Also, is there a way to surcharge for expedited shipping i.e add $xx.xx for overnight, etc.?

I too would be interested in a solution to the "table capped with a percentage" problem.
I need to be able to enable "table / price" calculations that are set with multiple table entries and then switch to a percentage of the order total cost when it is greater than $500.

Up to $25- / $4- shipping

$25- to $50- / $6- shipping

$50- to $100- / $8- shipping

Over $100- / $10- shipping

surcharge for posters $x (one entire category)

is this possible?

It would take a bit of work, but it could be done to add an additional charge for 1 category of products ...

I also need table/percent shipping.

We're doing it like this:

up to $30 - $5.95
up to $70 - $6.95
over $70 - 10% of order

Any news on this issue/request?

OK. As I'm digging deeper into getting this setup.. I find that I need Zones with table/percent. US is 30:5.95,70:6.95,10000:10% (?? dont think that percent there works). CA is 25% of order total.

Any help getting this working correctly is greatly appreciated!

I got this working. There is a shipping module called MZMT. MultiZone MultiTable. Works just fine. Search around for the link cuz it's on a different site.
