Can't lose the red dot!!!

I have scoured this forum and tried everything I could think of the get this download thing right and I can't seem to find the correct path to the file. Could it be that this is a sub domain off my main? I placed the download folder outside of my public html as I learned in this forum. I also learned that ZC looks for the file automatically in the download folder so all I would need is /file.zip in setting up attributes...didn't work. I have tried every combination I can think of to know avail. If anyone cares to take a look http://bizmart.betterbusinesscards.biz/admin
the temp password is boxcars and user is sirmj. It only has 1 product called banner buddy.
Could it be that the download folder has to be within the application? I use cpanel on an apache server, php website with mysql database.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Can't lose the red dot!!!

You entered the filename:

/download/bannerbuddy.zip

The filename should be:

bannerbuddy.zip

And you need to upload this to the directory:

/download

Downloads belong in the /download directory and cannot be added to subdirectories at this time ...

Re: Can't lose the red dot!!!

Thank you. I have tried it just as you said and it still won't change. I must have the download folder in the wrong place. I don't believe it to be a subfolder. When you log into cpanel where the public html folder (among others) reside is where I put the download folder (outside of public html BUT..outside of the subdomain folder as well). Could this be the issue? I will move it to see.

Hey, thanks for the speedy response:thumbsup:

Re: Can't lose the red dot!!!

Just noticed something. It seems that ZC loaded it's own download folder with a few test.zip files and an index.html file. It resides in the subdomain directory which is inside public html. I guess thats why they stick the index.html file there. Jeepers which one do I use? Going to delete the one I made.
