Online Catalog Don't Work

Someone could give a help in what I have done wrong?

The ADMIN is working allright but when i hit the ONLINE CATALOG button it doesn't work.

That file looks to be fine - so there's something else going on. It looks as though you don't have any files in the catalog folder at all - but you must have the admin folder and all of its contents because your admin Login page does come up on the screen.

Even if your includes/configure.php file was empty of data you'd have something coming up on the screen.

I'm a little bit lost.

What you can do is to test your online website out on your own computer. To do this you have to turn your computer into an offline web server. This is not that difficult to do. Go to http://www.apachefriends.org/en and download XAMPP, which is an all-in-one Apache web server package, which comes with Apache Web Server, PHP 4 & 5, MySQL, phpMyAdmin etc. Download the Installer version and once it's downloaded just click to install it - it's literally a 1-click install.

Download a backup of your online database, and of your website files/folders and put the files folders into the xampp htdocs folder. Go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin, create a blank database, import the backed up database into the new database. Then edit the two configure.php files manually to run on 'localhost' e.g. http://localhost instead of http://www.yourdomain.com

You can then test your website out on your own computer. If it runs fine on your computer then there may be a problem with the server your site is on.

Very good tip about the XAMPP , now i can test the zen cart configs in my local computer much faster!

PS: The problem have gone, it was the ftp program who do not uploaded the root files only the folders! Or may be the ftp operator! :yes:
