Congratulations You've failed..

To remove the installation message on the main page!! I have read some posts on how to delete this message. define pages editor>define_main_page. php. It doesn't show in the editor. everything else does. Where else might I look?

You can turn it off completely here:

admin -> configuration -> layout settings -> Customer Greeting - Show on Index Page and set to 0

You can also check:

includes -> languages -> english -> index.php

This worked fine. Instead of deleting it I changed the message.

That when you save it put it in the

includes > languages > english > yourtemplatename
