Zen cart virgin needs attribute advice!
Ok, so, I have four categories of products, each with several attributes (4 attributes per category; each attribute offers anywhere from 3 to 10 choices). For example, products 1-3 can come in 4 possible sizes and 3 possible colors. I know how to define the attributes only once and copy to different categories, that's fine. My question is, can I tell Zen Cart to associate a different model number with each individual set of attributes? E.g., product 1 in small + green = model 1SG. But, if customer orders the product 1 in small + red, now the model = 1SR. Is there a way to define each possible combination of attributes with a model number that Zen will recognize and use to adjust my inventory accordingly? I have a seperate QuickBooks inventory system at the office that I want to synch up with Zen as not all of my orders takes place online, so I have to consider that factor as well. Thoughts? Advice? Thanks!!
