Local Credit Card module not displaying

I am building a new site, and have installed their module that I am forced to use by my bankers. (I love banks) The updated version seemed fine in the admin->modules->payment section, but does not display or offer my only payment option on the checkout page.

Their old version module worked fine in 1.2.7, so I decided to upload the old tried and tested version into my new 1.3.0.1 test site. Once again, all seems fine in the admin->modules->payment section, but once again, it is not displaying or offer our payment option in the checkout. But, check this out......

My technical support guy told me on the phone yesterday that we do not support Zen Cart issues, and that any Zen Cart issues have priority #101 on a list of 100 issues. A bit below the belt hey? Anyways, I have forwarded a mail to this support guy, with a link to this page. And, if I am not moved to priority # 1 on the list, his bosses will know by 1000 today 20 June 2006.

This is most likely just that they've hard-coded some extraneous HTML code into the selection() (or possibly but less likely, the javascript_validation() ) function in the payment module.
The selection() function/element is what's used to draw the input fields for customers to enter their payment information.

can you have a look. I've just been told that they've such a backlog, that thay'll only look in the next few weeks I haven't changed ne settings

Is there anybody there who can have a look at this code for my payment module.

I thought it may have been a 1.3.0.1 issue, and have now updated to 1.3.0.2. I have tried both old and new versions of the payment module without luck. The old module works fine in 1.2.7

The issue seems the same in both 1.3.0.1 and 1.3.0.2 - no CC payment option displays in checkout.

I'm fed up with my service provider, and have found another company in South Africa that have sent me a module for testing on my ZC1.3.0.2. There are now 4 companies providing CC collections for ecommerce - the one I use is recommended by the bank. (I wonder who owns them)

It (the competition's module) doesn't work (dzigned 4 OSC) - are there any coders out there who can twist this into shape for ZC. These guys charge less - no set up fee, and their monthly charges are lower etc., and they have a sense of humour! :laugh:

Just an idea so I can put my new site up while I look for someone to help fix my payment module.

Is there a way that we can go live on my new site, and when the client proceeds to checkout, the basket is transferred to the old 1.2.7 site. (The old site's payment module works). And after the payment and checkout success is done, he/she gets returned to the new site. If I understand correctly, it would mean accessing 2 databases as the payment module runs in the old site database

I know this involves client's and orders records and all kind of other things being geschmozzled, but I am frustrated and losing interest trying to develop my new site, and constanly running back to fix all the errors of my old site.

I am using a Soth African comapny called Paygate - and it's not yet resolved.

Hi Pat,

You could for the time being use the stock credit card module,
this will display 1/2 the number and exp date and email you the other 1/2 and the cvv

you could then manually run them at paygates virtual terminal,
at least until the paygate issue is sorted out

Now I've the same display issue again with the ZC CC module - I must have corrupted something:

You haven't closed all your DIV's, SPAN's, TD's, etc properly

But I haven't touched them. The only code I have touched are form alignments on attributes and colours. Where should I look?

Look in View Source in your browser. Match up every open-tag with every close-tag to find out where the problem lies.

In the manucturer's div I get this double tag, but I only find one opening tag
