New Template Not Showing

I uploaded purple shades template from the module list. I switched from classic to purple shades in the admin. The old template is still showing?

The old template is still showing?It sounds like an obvious I know, but did you remember to click on the "update" button? Also, if you return to the Admin ? Tools > Template Selection menu, which template does it say is active?

Yes I hit update and the new template is showing as the detault or active template.

What is the full pathname for the purple shades template_info.php file on your system? What version of Zen Cart are you using? Is there link where we can see your site?

I deleted ZenCart from my website. Maybe I will give it another try later. For being a "User Friendly Shopping Cart" it sure is very confusing and alot of work especially when trying to change the design.....plus I see tons of posts about various problems from users every day.
