All Products displayed on Main Page

I need to know how i can have products_all displayed when guests come to the main page in the center column. Does anyone know how to do this?
I know it kinda defeats the purpose of the cart but it is at request of the artist.

Any info would be appreciated.

Do you need this just for the first hit to the site?

As in ... would the home page go back to normal after the first hit?

I want it to always be there.

Well, i guess im partway there. It was the end of the day yesterday and i did not go in depth with what i had accomplished.:wacko: So here is my problem now. I have all products listing on the main page. (which i did by making a new cat and linking all other cats to it) simple enough huh??? well.. now what i need is to also have the welcome box above the listings. when i set the layout settings to "always show on main page" it takes away the welcome. I am sure i can go in and edit the php code however i need to make this easy as possilbe for others to update the message.

The way it is designed right now is that if a Category with subcategories is set as the Always Show ... then you still see the Welcome ...

But, when you have a Category with Products as the Always Show, then you do not see the Welcome ...

You could probably customize this further so that when cPath is not defined it would show the Welcome ...

However ... do you want to see the Welcome during the 45 minutes the customer is on your site each time they hit the home page?

What would be the procedure for having the main_page=products_all be the home page all the time? Since we have categories tabs and few products on one site, I would like to set it up to launch with products_all and that be the home link as well.
