Failed to open stream....

I got this error. uploaded my english.php file to the wrong folder and now I have this error. I download zencart again and tried to take that enlish.php file thats in the zip file and deleted the one on the website and put the one from the zip file on the website and that didnt work. Any thoughts how to fix this ? I can still access the admin section though.

up and running... had the file i messed up at work on the comp here at home cause i had to edit it last night as well.. cept i did it correctly but not at work ... guess i should have been working at work instead of working on the website :lol:

mods/admin can delete this thread if youd like.

I have a similar error when trying to access the Admin site. I am not getting the Sign on screen. Instead I am getting the following error message: Warning: main(includes/languages/.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /export/home/an/mydomain.com/public_html/ shopping/ admin/includes/application_top.php on line 270.

I found the same problem at http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/ showthread.php?t=25670. This remember me that I was getting the UK flag on the shopping cart and then trying to make it does not appear on it I changed the default to US English instead of the UK English.

Maybe you can verify it this is my problem because you have more experiences than me with ZenCart. If this is the problem could you please, let me know how I can put it back or how to install the US English?

Before uploading new file or reuploading make sure your chmod permissions are set higher so that the file will write. I had the same problem...but set my permissions in admin...include ...functions...changed permissions......also that has to be done in two other places. admin ...include configure and includes...configure.....now everything works great.
