Can i have different stock for each variant?

I would like to be able to control the number of items in stock for each variant of a product. (in the same way as the QT Pro contribution for OSCommerce)
For example :

Product: T-shirt
Colours: Red and Blue
Sizes: S, M and L

Here i can have 2 in size small and colour blue, but maybe sold out in size small and colour red.

Preferably something that works with Improved Attributes Controller installed :lookaroun

Not if you have installed 1.3.x versions. However they say this is one of the next features that will be released at some point in ZC 1.3. I cant wait! :wink2:

On the other hand, If you have ZC 1.2.x versions, you could do a search for "stock by attributes" and "Attributes stock" and youll find 2 contributions. For your needs, I recommend Milosh's contribution (Attributes stock), because when an specific attribute is out of stock, it automatically dissapears from the dropdown menu in the products page, preventing the customer from selecting it.

However, this mod only allows 1 attribute stock, (not combined), so what you can do is to put the size and colour information into one attribute not into two separate attributes.

I also need something like this very badly. I will sell rings in different sizes and colors, I will sell shoes in different sizes and colors, mp3-players in different colors and memory sizes and it will be a very nagging site if I have the same shoe 8 times on the shop because of sizes and colors. :blink:

Any idea when this will be implemented in ZC ?
