Tim's Froogle/Gbase Tool Won't FTP

Hi:

I was using Tim's Froogle Feeder and everything worked fine until Google Base
took over for Froogle a month or so ago.

Now, I can no longer FTP Froogle/Google Base using the admin in Zencart. I can, however, generate a feed file using Tim's contribution and then copy/paste the file into other FTP programs and upload them---or use the bulk upload feature on the Google Base page.

I have tried using the new FTP address provided by Google Base which does not work.

This inability to FTP from admin is happening on my main instance of Zen and on my "play" instance of Zen. On both I get 2 error messages which tell me that they are unable to connect to Froogle.

Anybody know what I can do to get the thing to FTP?

Thanks in advance---Rich

You need to create an ftp account in google base before this will work again. You may also need to make some changes to the file format, since that's changed, too.

Re: Tim's Froogle/Gbase Tool Won't FTP

Bumping this since I still haven't gotten a satifactory answer. (Yes, I do have a valid GB FTP account)

Tim's feeder WAS generating a feed to Froogle through the Zen Cart admin, but that quit working despite my entering new info that Google gave me after they dumped Froogle a month or so ago.

Now, I either cut and past Tim's generated feed into another FTP program or use the Google Base upload page. In any case this is kind of a nuisance, plus there are only so many header options.

Also working on learning Open Office spreadsheet to submit items that way which may be my answer.

Does anyone know if there areSIMPLE changes to be made to tim's program to get it submitting to Google Base? (and, like, what would those be?)

Thanks in advance---Rich
