Really easy question ??? ( I hope )

I have just upgraded to the most recent version after having my old shop running on the ancient version .

Can you remind me where the files are located to change the "Sales Message Goes Here " and the "Congratulations on installing blah blah blah " part of the main page ?

Go to admin and login
click on tools ->define pages editor

To locate any text, variable, constant, etc. that you see on the screen or in a php file ...

Go to the Tools ... Developer's Tool Kit ...

In the bottom input box type in what you are looking for, example: Congratulations

Select the Catalog or Admin or Catalog/Admin

Click Search ...

This will show you all php files that reference the word, phrase, variable, constant, etc. and the line numbers ...

Do you know how much I love you at this precise moment !!!! LOL x x x Thank you so much ! Just one more thing - I am trying to change the colours on the template but on the the install txt is says to make sure you update the template php - do I just copy over the one from the new colour template ( custom ) to override the exisiting on under images/template etc ???

I have just tried to edit the main page ( where it says page 2 /3/4 etc ) I have updated the following to read ( further down ) but the hyperlinks on the main page have not changed. BUT when you click on the "page2" link from the main page the heading and the nav title are saying Makeup as I wanted

Line #22 : define('NAVBAR_TITLE', 'Page 2');

Line #23 : define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Page 2');

Line #25 : define('TEXT_INFORMATION', 'Page 2 information goes here.');

I changed them to read
/home/m/a/makeup4brides_co_uk/Shop/includes/languages/english/page_2.php

Line #22 : define('NAVBAR_TITLE', 'Makeup');

Line #23 : define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Makeup');

Line #25 : define('TEXT_INFORMATION', 'Makeup for your wedding day');

Any ideas anyone ?

Why will hyperlnk change?
They are coming from some other file

...changed them to read
/home/m/a/makeup4brides_co_uk/Shop/includes/languages/english/page_2.php ...

First you need to put a copy of the changed file in your custom override file.
