Free Gift Mod......A Couple Of Questions

hi i have a question. we want to use the free gift mod from wiki. does anyone know if it is compatible with 1.3.0.2

we have tried over and over to get it working but i just keep getting error messages.
i dont know enough about php to figure it out on my own.

i just figured i would ask if its compatible.

if anyone has any insight on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Check this file ... config.freeProduct.php

Do you have spaces or blank lines after the last ?> in there?

no there are no extra lines or anything.
i also just noticed it messed up the font size on the index listing.

i really hope to get this working, i figured knowing my luck its not compatible.

yes i did. i actually got it working. i went and edited the file through my cpanel.
just in case extra lines were showing up in the editor i used, and apparently that's what it was. it wasn't showing the extra lines but when i went into cpanel it showed them. it works perfectly.

You never want to use anything through your Control Panel for editing ...

Always use a good TEXT editor ... even for the simple things ... saves a lot of grief ... :cool:
