Complete N00b doesn't get it.

Hey guys, please don't flame me. I am at a loss.

How EXACTLY does one process the actual payments made through ZC? Do youv need a paypal account? Can you acces the CC number used straight through the admin section, making it able for me to do a transaction from my shop?

Please help, or point me in the right direction!

Cheers,

Bas

Re: Complete N00b doesn't get it.

If you want to accept PayPal you need an account.

If you have a merchant account for your current shop contact them for what is required to accept payments online.

There are common modules for payment gateways in the admin > modules > payment

You can process manually, but this defeats some of the reasons to sell online.

You should also have a https: portal setup. This normally requires a dedicated IP address and either a shared SSL, or a private SSL certificate.

If you have a credit card processing machine at your store, you do it that way. Part of the CC will be emailed, and part of the CC will be available on logging in to admin.
