RSS2 feed contribution support

Developing of last version 2.0 is finished. And I hope, that Woodymon help me whith documentation (as he promised it).

Does this version support price and pictures?

Certainly! The prices supports even in 1.5.7. 1.5.7 also support image by tag enclosure.
RSS_FEED 2.0 support additional products fields: price, currency, id, weight, brand, quantity, model_number, rating, images (main & addition).

I've had the 1.5.7 version for a while and never been able to get the price to display :frusty:

The price and currency were added in the version 1.5.5. May be problem in your css/xsl?

I offered to "test" but I certainly am also willing to assist in "documenting". But first I would need to be able to download the new version but I do not know the proper download URL :wink2:

I'm new to this forum, I'm sorry if I'm asking something that's been coverede before.. I was looking for an rss feeder that would export new items for my shop. I noticed in this thread that Andrew already coded that, I'd like to install it on my website but I couldn't download the script.

I've tried at this address:

but the file isn't there.. would someone mind sending it to me?

Andrew said he finished it quite some time ago and that he was sending it to Woodymon to document the installation and usage. Unfortunately, Andrew has now disappeared and not answering any PM's regarding the RSS 2.0 module. Hopefully someone else knows what is going on...

Does anyone know of another RSS mod, or does anyone have a copy of this mod? I imagine an RSS feed would be a very sought-after feature.

I have the old RSS2 mod but it is on a PC hard drive 100 miles from my current location.

I'm just posting here in order to watch this thread. I need a copy of this mod, any version, latest version, whatever.

I really need to add this VERY important capability to my site. It'll be one of my main marketing tools.

If someone would send me a copy of whatever WAS the latest version, while we wait for 2.0 from Andrew???

Woodymon, as the member with the most experience with version 1.5.7, could you please write a simple readme.txt file so that we can take advantage of this script?

We may never see version 2...

Installing as is does not display the price in IE...

I would love love love love LOVE this mod too. Does anyone have it to post or email? I've look all over this board and thread with no luck.

I don't need fancy prices, etc. Just the basic version will work great for me so I don't want to wait for the update.
