Buttons in the main page area

Hi All

Sorry but another simple question (but very important to me) I've had no probs making categories and subcategories or adding products in the top navigation bar(thanks to the forum) but I'm having a hellish time getting it to work in the main page area i can only get products to display (with there prices) and can't seem to get these to work as buttons. please tell me why this is..

Sorry- but I do not understand exactly what you are wanting to make buttons out of or what you want them to do. Perhaps a mockup or your URL?

Sorry i didn't give a clear description (i seem to be doing that a lot) I've worked out what i want to do in the navigation bar (sub) What i would like to do is have the three chairs in the bottom part of the page to direct customers to the relevant section of the store eg cheep, medium and expensive by ether clicking on the image itself or a button below the image.

If any one can see any problems with this or any thing else on the pages that might cause me trouble down the line please let me know as this is just a test page at the moment

I've been playing a bit more with this today and Ive added some more categories to the navi bar so the (sub) title is not there (there all this will be) just thought i'ld add this to avoid any confusion.
