Enlarging the width of my site

I have been reading the support forum and looking for a method of enlarging the width of my site.

I would like to increase the width of Zen Cart. I believe that it is controled by the template. But I don't know what file I need to change? I read a thread that said you need to change the <body>, but it make no sense to me.

Hear is what I would like to do:

  1. increase the width by about 50%
  2. Allow the center section to be larger

It look like I need a detail description of what to do!

Thank you for any help

My web site is almost complete only a few change needed before i release it. Ther is so much in Zen Cart that I will never stop learning and inproving it.

Re: Enlarging the width of my site

In both of your stylesheets (stylesheet_new.css and stylesheet_original.css) find ALL instances of 760px and change that to 100%

Re: Enlarging the width of my site

Look in includes -> templates -> YOUR_TEMPLATE -> css.

You appear to be using the "classic" template so they will be in:
