Can you switch off the (+$40.00) format

I am working on a few items int he Attributes and would like to know if you can switch OFF the bit that shows (+$40.00) (+2KG) after the products... I now know that whatever this figure is.. you add it with the base price of the product to get the new price.... I have set it out that the Option name is...

Coffee Mug $10.00
Coffee Mug Set of 4 $35.00

Thats how I want it.... but when displayed it looks like this...

Coffee Mug $10.00
Coffee Mug Set of 4 $35.00 (+25.00) (+1KG)

It just looks confusing for the customer... the top one looks easier to understand...
