yeah i know the mod exists but i have it installed butthe other option dont show up

its supposed to show a box for other liek if they didnt hear about you from one of the things you specify they can put in there own

Ahh ! yes, I know what you mean now. I thought exacly the same thing this morning. Did you requested this feature to be added on the pointed topic above ?

Also, when the customer does specify the 'other', as an option, are you looking for to add a textarea window below or simply choosing this option on-the-fly, without any inputs, should be enough ?

i believe thsi si suppsoed to included i nthe mod from what i udnerstand i may be wrong though

If they could have a text box to put in there other source it would be great

Admin->Configuration->My Store->Display "Other" Referral Option. Set it to "True". That should display it.

ok its there but doesnt work i put test i nthe other field and in the admin it just shows under Other

Look in admin panel: click Customers->Customers. It should be listed under Referred By.

If you have the newest version of this contrib (1.3.1), you would double click Other in Extras->Referral Sources and it would show up there.

So is the textarea input field supposed to be showing ALL the time? Mine is showing all the time whether you click "Other" or not.

So I have it set in Admin to be Required on Account Creation, but it is not requiring the customer to select How they heard about us.

I am having a real hard time with this feature. Is this a mod that I need to install?

This is what I get when I turn the feature on.

Instead of Referral code...How do I change it to Referred by:

What does this referral code do? Is there a way to make it a drop down menu?
