The back button of the AAQ form is directed to Page Not Found.

The Code
is the same for tpl_ask_a_question_default.php and tpl_contact_us_default.php
The back Button for Contact us is working.

Why... back links are based on the page you came from, Link to your site would help, more info on how the page was linked so on... I'm not having any strange things with AAQ, and looking at 2.2 I'm not that far off from where I'm at to give me any hints.

After further testing The same was happening to 'Contact Us'
The only thing that was added to both the AAQ and CU was the Zen non CAPTURE mod.
This must be the culprit
Before I deleted the 400 error page as the redirection, selecting the back button of either AAQ or CU directed the user to the 'No page found'. Then oddly enough when selecting the back button again of the 'Page Not found' the user is returned to the original and correct web page.

Still not seeing any problems if you are referring to nonCAPTCHA, Would need more hints! Did you modify anything in functions_general.php or kill any sessions dealing with navigation or did some strange page rewrites.

FWIW, ***POSM ***requires no change to the storefront's functions_general.php. It does require some additional notifications added to the admin's /includes/functions/general.php, though.

It's not an issue with any mods or ZC! this kind of like taking pot shots at a possum that keeps playing dead... back links are created by getting the HTTP_REFERER from your browser, so if your browser or rewrites or site is doing something to spoof where you are coming from, then back links well fail... thus the request for a link..

Zen Cart 1.5.7 comes with AAQ built in, but remember to update your template file for the product page (e.g. tpl_product_info_display.php) to use the parameter "pid" instead of "products_id" when calling AAQ.

Hi All,

Have an issue with one part link below allowing Ask a Question screen to come up but others not working and would assume that it would have to be a database issue.

another part on eth same page will not load the Ask a Question. This was installed by someone else and as usual I am thinking is was done incorrectly as I have not touched the back end till now.

This is one other product that is not working.

Any asistance would be great because I have spent a quite a few dollars getting other people to do things and most of the time I get other issues when they fimnish.

From what I can 'see', it's not the ask-a-question handling, it's whatever URL mangler you're using that isn't sending the item's products_id in some situations.

It kind-of looks like one of those 'situations' is when the zenid is appended to the URL, like in your last example.

This is the programe that is being used is and the same person installed both modules

Can it be corrected so that Ask a Question works correctly?

I am not very happy on what the person has done the on the site and it appear to be very messy and hard to correct what he has done.

It looks like the Ask a qurestion module is now working as it should thanks to DrByte information supplied.

Ask a Question and Contact Us template files are nearly identical.

Why not de-bloat the Zen Cart package and merge these two files into one?

I made a similar option called Make An Offer and did not have to make a separate tpl file. It works off of the contact us form. Maybe I'll post it when I get done updating my cart to 1.5.8a.
