How to delete a Gift Certificate

Hi,
I emailed myself a test Gift Cert of $1000 (lucky me...hehoeo) and I want to delete it.. I got the redemtion code and entered it in to make sure all worked and yep.. it did.. now I want to delete it... is this possible or will I be in $1000 credit forever more ???

Simplest way: create a product for 1000, redeem your balance, complete the order, and delete the order. All done.

There is no built-in facility for removing Gift Certificates, since they are treated like cash.

Thanks... that worked...
When purchasing a Gift Cert why does the Direct Deposit not work... only says Paypal is the only option...all other products both payment options are shown??

Any thoughts ??

P.s -- only have 2 problems left and my site is complete.... this drama with the Direct Deposit and the other one is the pictures in the 'New Products' side box are all squished.. I changed the settings in the whats_new.php file as the readme says but the image did not chnage at all... one of the other guys said its due to image floating size..??? He said he was going away for a few days and would not be able to check it.... can you work that out ??
