Advice for choosing a payment gateway
Hi,
I'm in South Korea and I'm looking everywhere for the right payment gateway.
One I found is asking for like 200+$ of account setup fee, plus thee's a 200+$ annual fee. The applied rate per transaction is 3,6% no minimum. However, they would apply a 6% rate on all payments coming from countries outside Korea. Is that common to apply such a different rate on foreign payments? Do these terms seem acceptable to you guys.
Also, do you think I could use a gateway from a country other than Korea, say Hong Kong for example, or does your gateway have to from the same country your business is?
